St. Alban Roe Women’s Lenten Retreat - 2023
A weekend opportunity for faith strengthening, spending time with old friends, or meeting new ones, and usually occurring within Lent, the SAR Women’s Retreat has been a staple in the parish for over 15 years and is open to women within and outside the parish. The retreat takes place at The Marianist Center off of Hwy 109 in Eureka.

The retreat hosts a presenter and we try to accommodate 25- 35 attendees with optional ways to attend, such as an overnight at the Marianist Center or by commuting. Meals are provided for the w/e as The Center has their own chef. The schedule is typically 3-4 presentations on Saturday with free time in between presentations to enjoy the the grounds of The Center which include a chapel and nature trails. Mass is often scheduled early Saturday evening. On Sunday there is usually one presentation and a brunch. Check out time is typically noon.
The retreat is a relaxing opportunity to focus on the spiritual part of our lives and enjoy the community God has called us to be.
For Lent 2023~
We are hoping to partner with The Marianist Retreat Center for next year’s and future women’s retreats. The Center has been our locale for previous retreats and has undergone new management during 2020- 2021 with a Marianist tradition.
No date or details as of June 2022 but check back to this website page for updates.
