Knights of Columbus Miraculous Experiences
How many of you remember hearing this “Do you believe in miracles? Yes!” This famous quote is from ABC sportscaster Al Michaels during the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. There were 3 seconds left on the clock after the US National Hockey Team beat the Soviet Union in the semi-finals, advancing to the medal round. The game is known as the “Miracle on Ice” which was watched by 8,500 fans in Lake Placid, New York, and 34.2 million people worldwide.
Did you know that over 83 percent of Americans still believe in miracles.
Over the last several years members have from time to time at our monthly meetings shared their experiences involving miraculous occurrences.
John Drabik, our Lecturer has collected those stories, and has added a cover page explaining the effort and purpose.
As you read through these there is one common element in each of these. Do you know what it is?
