Welcome to 2nd grade:

Let's Take a Peek Into What’s Happening
                                In 2nd grade
Our classroom will take on an Irish look this month! We will have shamrocks around the room, Irish potato men hanging from the ceiling, the Irish flag, and leprechauns decorating our windows. The students wrote a story about catching a leprechaun. 
Lucky Charm, BEWARE!
 
       We continue our journey in Lent. We decorated our bulletin board with small crosses. On each cross, the students wrote down one sacrifice they would make during Lent. Many gave up something and some decided to work on a particular value.
 
We continue our preparation for 1st Communion. We look forward to Fr. Chrismer’s talks on Wednesdays.
 
In March, the 2nd graders along with the primary level participated in the birthday of Dr. Seuss. We will gather in the gym with our Dr. Seuss hats on and read for 30 minutes. This is National Day of Reading across America.
