Scripture Study

St. Jerome once stated, "Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ."

Here at St. Alban Roe, the goal of all of the Faith Formation opportunities is to help us to come to know Jesus Christ more intimately and to love Him more faithfully.  Obviously, Scripture study is an important part.  If you would like to participate in one of the several Bible studies, please contact Jim Blase at 636-458-2977 ext 227 or click here to e-mail.

There are three different studies that are offered at the parish:

Tuesday Morning Women's study

The Tuesday morning group is the only Bible study in the parish that meets year round, simply begining a new study when the last one is finished.  The new study is chosen based on the input of the group.  The group meets each Tuesday morning from 9:00 am to 11:00 in the Emmaus Room in the basement of the church, and always welcomes new participants.

Letter of St. James

We will be offering a study on the Letter of St. James on Tuesday evenings (7:00pm), Wednesday mornings (9:15am), Wednesday evenings (7:00pm), and Thursday mornings (9:15am), starting on Tuesday, January 17th.

Bible Timeline

There is a new version of the full Bible Timeline (24-week) study.  We will be going through the videos for the study (~1 hour each) on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.  This study will begin on January 18th.

To register for the Letter of St. James or the Bible Timeline studies (or any of the other Wednesday evening studies), please click on the Registration form, print it out, and submit it to the Parish Offices.
